Centennial Park Coronado – Sweeping panoramas from an expansive lawn with benches and a rose garden. This park is on the bay with the view to Downtown San Diego.  Excellent view.

Bayview Park – Another hidden gem, this location is one of my favorite spots. It’s a small park surrounded by trees with the view to downtown San Diego. If we are lucky that day, we may also get some of the navy ships in the background.

Heritage Park Community Center (Chula Vista) – This is one of my favorite parks because it offers a little bit of everything: A man-made lake, grassy hills with trees, and an urban building in the middle of the park.

Balboa Park – This location offers a colorful Rose Garden, traditional Spanish architecture, a lush green house and more. You can’t go wrong with this place.

(Side note) If planning a family photoshoot, this location is best for those booking the 2 hour photo session since the park is quite spread out.  It is possible to book the 1 hour session here, however, we would stay within a certain area of Balboa Park to maximize your photo session time.

Bayside Park (Chula Vista) - Surrounded by the marina, the park features a fishing pier, walking paths, and open grassy spaces. The park is enhanced by a picturesque view of South Bay. The park also provides a beautiful view of the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge and the San Diego Skyline.

Embarcadero Marina Park North – This downtown San Diego Park borders Seaport Village and features ample parking, a gazebo, and expansive recreation. High chance of photo bombers in the afternoon.

Small Forest (Chula Vista) - Behind Montevalle Community Center sits a small forest-like scene. This location is definitely a hidden gem specialty. if you enjoy the outdoors, it will make you feel like you are camping.

Coronado Tidelands Park – The view of the Coronado Bridge and San Diego Bay. There are no trees and hardly any shade around. Avoid the hours when the sun is at its peak.  High chance of photo bombers in the afternoon.
